After Andreas Maragkoudakis leaving the bank in 2009, the interim management was assured by Crina Cosma, Deputy General Manager.

"It's a great pleasure for me to return in Romania at the management of a solid bank like Banca Romaneasca. From my new position, I will continue to permanently adapt the bank's strategy to the new economic conditions, to improve the group synergisms, as well as to exploit the opportunities for its development. The main objective for me is to further improve the bank's position in the market and to consolidate the NBG Group presence in Romania, through efficient liquidity, assets quality and risk management. We are focusing on selective growth in areas with acceptable risks, both on corporate and retail", stated Marinis Stratopoulos, General Manager of Banca Romaneasca.

Marinis Stratopoulos, aged 46, has experience and solid knowledge in banking activity, field in which he has been working for over 17 years, having management positions in banks with international presence as Piraeus Bank Group, Egnatia Bank and National Bank of Greece. Between 2006 and 2010, he had the position of General Manager at Vojvodjanska Bank, subsidiary of National Bank of Greece in Serbia.
