Tusac's mayor mandate ceased

After he received all the necessary documentation in order to make a correct decision according to the law, prefect Claudiu Palaz emited, yesterday, the order by which cease the mayor mandate of Mangalia, held by social democratic Mihai Claudiu Tusac.

By the Order of Prefect no. 522 from December 17, 2009, starting that day, the mandate of the mayor of Mangalia, Mihai Claudiu Tusac, ceased due to incompatibility.

The mayor got into this situation partially "thanks" to the municipal councils who assigned him as representative in General Gathering of the Associates of SC Administrarea Parcului Industrial Mangalia SRL, by approving Decision of Local Council Mangalia no. 50 from August 26, 2008. This Decision has made the object of a Report of the Control Department of Internal Affair Ministry.

As a result of the investigation, an address has been sent to the National Trade Register Office requesting the list of trading companies where some names appear as administrators. Among those names there was also Mayor Claudiu Tusac. On 5^th of October 2009, the answer communicated said that "until September 24, 2009, the Trade Register Office by the Law Court of Tulcea.
