The Mayor of Constanta, Radu Mazăre, met the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Constanta, Mikhail Reva, for the first time since his Excellency was attached with diplomatic problems in Constanta.

Without getting too much thought, the Mayor made a business proposal to the Consul. "We have multiple reasons to tighten economic ties for the benefit of both sides, because we are very close typologies, warm and friendly people. We love entertainment and we have beautiful girls. Therefore, I want you to help me get in touch with two or three big clubs in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but not those with naked women, to bring them in Mamaia Resort.

I know that Russian tourists prefer the beaches in Turkey and Egypt, but there is nowhere you can find entertainment possibilities like in our city during the summer. Turkey and Egypt are Muslim countries and there are many restrictions in terms of entertainment. I never saw two Russian tourists scared in Constanta," said Radu Mazăre.

The Consul General agreed with the Mayor's proposal. "Entertainment industry is highly developed in Russia, but I give you all my support and I’ll do whatever it is in my power to help you. I also want an exchange of experience between municipalities in terms of cheap housing program for young people," said Mikhail Reva.

Mayor Mazăre was also interested in how tourists who want to visit Romania can obtain visas, compared with visas for Bulgaria. "There is no difference between visa for Romania and visa for Bulgaria. However, we have discussions with the authorities to change the visa procedures," declared Mikhail Reva.

At the end of the meeting, the Consul received a medal from the Mayor and a presentation album with Constanta, and also something else. "Let me tell you what happened in a club in St. Petersburg. I was talking with a beautiful girl and she asked me what do I do for living. I told her I'm the Mayor of a town in Romania, Constanta. She looked at me and said that if I was the Mayor, then she would be the daughter of Putin,“ concluded Radu Mazăre.
