Three new payment methods for RCS & RDS invoices

Citibank Romania has announced that its Global Transaction Services business has been mandated by RCS & RDS to collect invoices from its clients, through the countrywide network of its partner bank CREDITCOOP, Unikasa and Easy Payments services.

The clients of the most important supplier of integrated services of telecommunications in Romania have now at their disposal 850 units from the national network CREDITCOOP in order to pay their invoices conveniently, time-efficiently and free of charge. .

RCS & RDS is constantly interested in its clients' needs, entering into valuable partnerships with companies which can ensure support for its millions of clients. Through Citibank Romania and CREDITCOOP, RCS & RDS will offer to all of its clients from the urban and rural area the possibility to pay their invoices for the services received, in a timely-efficient way, and without additional costs. Through their countrywide network, Citibank Romania and CREDITCOOP offer to RCS & RDS the opportunity to ensure these payment conditions especially to its clients from the rural areas.

About Unikasa

Introduced in Romania in 2004 by Citi, the Unikasa service allows clients to easily and conveniently pay their invoices with Cosmote, GDF Suez Romania, Apa Nova, CEZ Vânzare, CEZ Distribuţie, Vodafone, Avon, Romtelecom, Enel Energie Muntenia and Zapp. The client only has to show the invoice at the Unikasa pay-office, where the cashier scans the barcode, after which the payment is being registered in the system and confirmed through the receipt. The use of the Unikasa system is free of charge. The service is accessible to anybody, not only to Citibank clients.

About Easy Payments

Easy Payments is an automated cash payment system, based on a variant of the traditional ATMs, whose function of cash withdrawal is being replaced with that of depositing. Invoices payment is made only by cash, without being necessary that the payer should have a card or a banking account. The transactions are fast, convenient and safe through scanning the barcode on the invoice, after which the client deposits the money. The operations can be made 24/7, free of charge. Through Easy Payments there can be paid housing invoices, mobile and fixed telephony, insurance policies, university taxes and fines. Citi launched Easy Payments in 2000 and was the first bank in Romania to offer an automated system of cash payments.
