Metropolitan Ilarion passed away

Metropolitan Ilarion of Durostor - Silistra passed away. According to www.lacasuriortodoxe.ro, the Holy Father passed away on Tuesday evening, October 27, at the age of 97. Metropolitan Ilarion joined monastery at the age of 25 and shortly after he was appointed protosingel in the former capital, Veliko Tarnovo. After he held many positions, the Holy Father was appointed Vicar of the Patriarch and later he was raised in rank to Metropolitan of Durostor.
