Norwegian money for Romanian business Oil Depol Service SRL won 950,000 Euros for a "green" project

Increased technical capacity of bioremediation services, introducing a new green service in the rehabilitation of sewerage systems and the creation of 13 jobs in the green services field - all are goals of a project worth 1,988,817 euros, implemented by a company in Constanta.
 
Oil Depol Service SRL won a grant worth 950,000 euros through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 - 2014 (Norwegian funds), “Green Industry Innovation Programme Romania“, for the project " DECON (tamination) Technologies for a Greener Environment". The main objective of the programme is to reduce the amount of produced waste.
 
"The project is worth 1,988,817 Euros and the grant is 950,000 euros, which represents 49.41% of the investments. We will also invest 1,922,517 euros for the equipment. We're talking about four cesspool emptiers, a bioremediation rows homogenization machine, a pipeline rehabilitation system and the equipment for the pipeline rehabilitation system," said Adrian Rosu, Head of Logistics Department in Oil Depol Service SRL. Project implementation period is 24 months.

The Company carries complete services in the field of greening: oil contaminated soil remediation, demolition, waste management and cleaning and industrial washing services. "We provide services that meet the needs, requirements and expectations of customers in terms of quality and safety in order to maintain a clean environment," said Adrian Rosu.

22 million Euros for eco projects

In Romania, everybody talks about European funds, but few know that the European countries that are not part of the European Union also finances the member states. Norway is an example of a financier, and Romania, of the beneficiary. The “Green Industry Innovation Programme Romania“ is part of the funding scheme offered by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 - 2014 (Norway Grants) and the overall objectives are to contribute to the reduction of economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area through financial contributions in priority sectors  and to strengthen bilateral relations between Norway and the Beneficiary States.
 
Through this program, Norway offers 22 million Euros for development of eco projects: eco laundries, bio agriculture and purchase of eco-friendly equipments. The objectives of the “Green Industry Innovation Programme Romania“ are to increase competitiveness of green enterprises, including greening of existing industries, green innovation and green entrepreneurship
The Programme Operator is Innovation Norway, a state owned company under the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and the Norwegian County Municipalities.
